Much like Facbooks "Block All Ads from..." feature, Google appears to be testing the ability to block all ads from one domain name on it's pay per click Adwords network.
The ability to block ads is not showing up for everybody at this point, but it does work whether or not you are signed into your Google account.

Following a September 2011 increase to posts as long as 5,000 characters, Facebook now allows a post length of more than 60,000 characters since November 2011.
It seems that Facebook has noticed the value of Google+ and it's long post lengths, and this may go a long way to appeasing journalists who have been favouring platforms other than Facebook.
